Annual Fall Food Drive

KNA is excited to announces our fourth annual Fall Food Drive. The drive will run from November 3rd through the 26th. As in past years, the Kennydale Elementary School will be the gathering point for all donated food; look for the collection barrel in the school’s lobby. A contest will be held between the classrooms, and the class that collects the most food items will be rewarded with a pizza party. 

All Kennydale residents are encouraged to drop a donation off at the school, even if you don’t have children attending there. 

Last year, over 3500 food items were donated by the caring citizens of Kennydale. We are hoping to collect even more items this year! Acceptable donations include non-perishable goods such as canned food, pasta, boxed meals, juice, cereal etc. (Please, no leftover Halloween candy!)

As we did last year, all contributions will be given to the REACH: Center of Hope. The Center of Hope is a Renton organization that creates a safe environment for mothers and children to seek shelter, a place for showering, laundry, food and counseling.
