Warm Weather, Warm Fire, Warm Wishes at KNA’s Annual Bonfire

KNA’s annual Bonfire and Sing-along, on its regularly scheduled date of the second Tuesday in December, was another success this year.  We had record warm weather in the picnic shelter at Gene Coulon Beach Park, so we were able to to fully enjoy the beautiful Ivar’s Clam Lights.  The s’mores, and hot chocolate and cider were toasty, as neighbors sang carols led by members of the St. Madeleine Sophie Church Choir, and by a group of enthusiastic children.
 
Our thanks to the annual event hosts, Janice and Jim Dougherty, Sally Rochelle for providing the marshmallow sticks, Darius and Vicki Richards for the firewood, and to all of the neighbors whose attendance made this such a special holiday tradition.
