Kennydale Neighborhood Meeting
              Tuesday, January 29th, 6:45* pm
At Kennydale Elementary School, 1700 NE 28th Street

Special City of Renton Guest Speakers

Chip Vincent, Administrator, Dept. of Community & Economic Development (CED)
Vanessa Dolbee, Senior Planner, CED
Peter Renner, Facilities Director

Chip and Vanessa will present information on the very latest version of the Quendall Terminals Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which is also known as the Preferred Alternative Addendum.  This Preferred Alternative represents a more compact development that responds to concerns that had been voiced by Kennydale residents, particularly those residing in North Kennydale.

Peter will bring us up to date on the planning efforts that are currently underway for construction of the new King County Library branches at the Cedar River site and up in the Renton Highlands.  Both sites have some significant challenges, and progress is being made to meet those challenges.

This is a great opportunity to get the full picture from these three key people in Renton’s administration.  Please join us to get up to date on what is going on, and to participate in the Q&A session that will follow!

                                  Also on the agenda ~

A special recognition will be given to Kim Browne for her 13 years of dedicated service to KNA, starting with her role as our founding President in 1999, and for her leadership in other roles during the ensuing years.

All Kennydale residents are invited to this Quarterly Meeting.

*Check-in and socialize with your neighbors at 6:45pm; meeting starts promptly at 7:00 pm.
