RECORD ATTENDANCE at the KNA ICE CREAM SOCIALS

KNA’s two Ice Cream Socials enjoyed record high number of attendees again this summer.  At our July 18th social, we served 204 people and initially went through all of the ice cream, but we restocked quickly so that everyone was served.  Sincere thanks to Kennydale resident and event sponsor, Jon Bye (Jon Bye and Associates Realty) for covering the cost of the ice cream and supplies, and to our new chairperson for this event, Luke Welling (and his wife, Jenn), and to the KNA Board members who assisted.
 
At our second social on August 15th, we likewise had a large crowd of 187 people, with an ample supply of ice cream and goodies for all who attended!  Thanks again to Luke, Jenn and our KNA team, and Luke’s firm, Homeseed Loans (luke@homeseedloans.com) for sponsoring this event.
 
And special thanks to Drey Hicks, Neighborhood Coordinator for the City of Renton Neighborhood Program, for providing tables, chairs and all sorts of new games for our citizens: Ladder Golf, Outdoor Jenga, Bocce Ball and more.  These will be a feature at KNA’s future summertime events!
