When we moved to Renton in 2007, we thought it would be difficult to meet people and become a part of the community. The Kennydale Neighborhood Association (KNA) changed that quickly! We received a welcome bag with great information and invitations.
We attend the KNA meetings, which are both interesting and a great way to meet others. We enjoy the KNA fun family times together, such as a picnic, an ice cream social, and Christmas smores at the park. We even marched in a parade with the KNA float!
We are very proud to live in Kennydale.”

“My husband and I moved to Phoenix in the 90s and when we returned in April 2000 shortly after KNA was formed we were approached by some members of KNA to participate in the planting of Ivy at one of their adopted sites, the Kennydale Beach slope. There was a huge turnout for this event and we were impressed by the Community involvement. This enthusiasm was what prompted us in becoming active members of KNA and have developed many good friendships over the past 16 years.
Kennydale Neighborhood Association is part of the City of Renton Neighborhoods program and is the largest Neighborhood association among 72 other recognized neighborhood associations in Renton.
We truly believe in the KNA which is dedicated in enhancing the quality of life in Kennydale and fostering community spirit.”

“We have been a member of KNA for many years. KNA meetings and communications keep me in the know about what is happening in Kennydale. They educate our community on crime prevention, transportation trends and plans that impact us, fun activities, and much more. When PSE looked at Kennydale for placement of huge power polls on our lovely waterfront, it was KNA who had our back and saved Kennydale! They are the go to people for what we need to know about my community. Thank you KNA!!”
